Interconnection between Samsung TV and Samsung Blu-Ray is very good. Remote for each component controls entire system. One failing - when internal TV speakers are turned off, remotes for volume control do not work. Solution - update my audio system to a Samsung.

The Samsung LN46B650 was my first ever TV purchase. I have always been spoiled a bit when it comes to home theater since my father was such a nut about it, but since I moved out on my own I really didn't want to compromise on the picture quality I have been used to for years now.

The picture quality is stunning, the colors are bright and clear, and the aesthetics of the TV alone are great for any decor. In fact, my roommate (who has never been able to tell the difference between HD and regular TV,) exlaimed the first time I turned it on that she could finally see the change, and immediately called her ex-boyfriend to let him know that his HD TV sucks.

I must say, I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. I carefully researched everything, plasma vs lcd, 1080p to 720p, refresh rate, the whole shebang. Amazon offered a great deal on this TV that I couldn't refuse, not to mention the promotional codes that are constantly available to use. The TV itself came out of the box, no dead pixels (I have never read a review of a Samsung brought home with dead pixels,) easy to put onto the rotating TV stand (one you figure the rather poor instructions, it goes into a slot in the TV which isn't clear in the picture,) and just beautiful to watch TV on. I haven't flipped away from my HD channels since I set it up last week.
